This is a very rare Limoges box in that the inscription on the bottom says, "Tiffany of Co. Private Stock, Hand Painted, Made in France" with the artist signature. Quite a find! It is described as a "Black Shoulder Powder Box" with hand painted items of a palm tree, footed bowl, 2 pears, a tropical looking bird, pumpkin, urn, 2 cherries (which also appear on the underside of the lid, and a hare on the top of the box.

Measurements: 2" tall x 2 1/4" across the bottom
